Brief:

A unique departure in itself. Combines Yoga with a short trek to Triund and helps you find peace in the fresh peaceful air of Himalayas.

Triund hill lies in the Dhauladhar mountain ranges of Western Himalayas. Another major plus for the trek is that it starts from McLeodganj which itslef is one of most popular hill towns in the country and world renowned for being seat of Tibet government in exile. A trekker can club his adventure with cultural tour of the town and also go shopping and food tasting here. McLeodganj is a foodie’s paradise for sure.

The trail starts from the town itself. Initial trek to Guna devi temple is now connected by road as well. Though walking gives a good warm up and a short tour of the lisestyle of local people. Guna Devi to Triund is steep but marked trail. We can also find 3 snack-shops on the way where you can re-energize yourself. Trek upto Triund is very popular and busy with many foreign guests treading the route on a daily basis. Triund is a beautiful mountain grassland. In the night it offers some magical views of the valley below.

Apart from professional trek leader and support staff, the team is accompanied by an experienced Yoga Guru who’ll conduct Yoga sessions in the beautiful and pristine, green mountain hill of Triund. Yoga certainly can’t get any better than this!

The Triund Yoga trek is an enriching experience for the body and the soul alike. This time spent amidst the mountains will remove the cob-webs from your mind and will thoroughly rejuvenate you. This is a must do combo of Trekking, Yoga and Himalayas!

Day No: 1
MCLEODGANJ TO TRIUND (9 KMS. / 5 – 6 HOURS): You’ll gain over a kilometer in altitude, from McLeodganj (1750 mtrs) to Triund (2850 mtrs). This is a well marked trail for most times and takes around 5-6 hours to reach to Triund top. We start in the morning aat around 9 am and reach Triund by late afternoon. We’ll get snack shops on the way to Triund. It is a very popular route for weekend trekkers and first timers. In the evening, we start our first Yoga session. And its all peaceful from here on!

Day No: 2
YOGA AT TRIUND + HIKE TO SNOWLINE CAFE: This is a relaxing day at Triund. Our Yoga guru takes over the day and conducts Yoga sessions. He teaches various ‘Asanas’ that helps in developing a positive aura around you. The lessons will be so taught that you’d be able to repeat them even once the journey is over. One can also take up optional hike to snowline cafe (one hour from Triund). Relax your day amidst the beautiful Himalayas.

Day No: 3
TRIUND TO MCLEODGANJ (9 KMS / 3 HOURS): We trek back through the same route from Triund. The trek down will be a lot faster than the climb. We reach McLeodganj by late afternoon, and depart to our homes by evening bus to Delhi.
