  • Easy Climb to Snowy Brahmtal Peak at 12,100 ft.
  • Unmatched Views of Mt. Trishul and Himalayas

Winters is the time when the great Himalayan ranges wear a white blanket and presents to us some magnificent sights. Where many such views are away from the reach of a beginner or moderate trekker, Brahmatal Trek is one of very few such gems that provides an opportunity to experience snow like never before.

The best part is that the Brahmatal Lake and Summit trail is not as crowded as the likes of Kuari Pass or Kedarkantha, may be because of a name not popularized yet over the internet or may be approach being a little further. But despite being less popular, it surely should be your first preference as a snow trek for being more adventurous option with out of this world views, as well as for being less crowded than the others.

Brahmatal Lake trek offers not only snow summit and camps, it also offers frozen high-altitude lakes and some awe-inspiring views of summits over 7000 meters. The sight of Mt. Trishul riht next is something that cannot be matched. Just do not think over too much, in winters this is the trek to take up to get all what you want, and perhaps more and importantly avoiding huge crowded fairs as in other trails.

After breakfast, we proceed further through thick oak forests for about an hour or so aftr which there is a steep descent, we will reach today’s campsite Khabekhal (Brahmatal). However in winters snowfall may occur anytime and depending on snow conditions, it might take longer to reach the destination.
